YOUR REQUIREMENTS

Make it ready.

Metadata-only preserves pixel dimensions. Resampling changes the number of pixels.

How to use Image DPI Changer

  1. Upload an image and choose a DPI preset or custom value.
  2. Keep metadata-only mode or enter print dimensions for resampling.
  3. Review output pixels and physical size, then download.

Features

  • JPG JFIF and PNG pHYs density metadata
  • Physical-size calculation with aspect lock
  • Presets stored in a reusable configuration

Practical tips

Changing DPI metadata does not sharpen a blurry image. Metadata mode preserves encoded image data for JPG and PNG; WEBP must be converted.

Good questions. Simple answers.

Does 300 DPI increase quality?

Only sufficient original pixels can provide real detail. Metadata-only mode changes print size, not image quality.

Why does WEBP need conversion?

This tool writes standard density metadata to JPG and PNG. WEBP input is decoded and converted to your selected output.

Are my files uploaded?

No. These tools process files on your device. Download your result before leaving the page; a reset clears the current workspace.
