How to resize an image
1. Upload your image
Choose a JPG, PNG or WEBP image. Its original dimensions appear with the preview.
2. Choose dimensions
Use Resize by to select pixels, percentage, centimeters or inches. Drag the size slider or enter values; keep Maintain aspect ratio on to avoid stretching.
3. Resize and save

Supported formats and features
Physical units
Centimeters and inches use your DPI value to calculate pixels. The output does not embed a custom print-resolution metadata tag.
Enlargement control
Do not enlarge image is enabled initially. Turn it off only when larger dimensions are needed; enlargement cannot recover missing detail.
Keep the shape of your image
Leave aspect ratio locked to avoid stretching. Changing units converts your current dimensions. Centimeters and inches use DPI to calculate pixels; they do not add a print-resolution metadata tag.

Can I resize without stretching the image?
Yes. Keep Maintain aspect ratio checked. Width and height stay proportional; unlock it only when you intentionally need different proportions.
Does changing centimeters change DPI metadata?
No. DPI is used to calculate pixel dimensions. Set the intended print size in your printing software if necessary.
Will resizing always reduce the file size?
No. Output format, dimensions and quality all affect bytes. Use Compress Image to KB when a form specifies a maximum file size.
